Was the boy who had just kissed her senseless the same boy who was slowly disappearing from her?aka, Marinette leaves Paris and Adrien doesn't. This fic is about what happens every time she comes back. (Hint: there is a lot of making out on rooftops)

She felt gross at first, she hated him, he was such a nuisance and super annoying... she really did try to shake them off... But nothing can escape his sight, especially when he notices his usually monotone "partner" starting to avoid him during battle.

University has been hard on Marinette. Making new friends and maintaining her grades is a lot easier said than done when she has to disappear at odd times to fight akumas. She's struggling, and with Alya away with family and Adrien painfully out of reach, she's never felt lonelier.
If only she could talk to someone who really understood her struggles... but it's not like Chat Noir would know anything about loneliness. Right?

“It's only fair. This is payback for the Seine incident.” He hears her say from afar.
“My lady, surely there are other ways to utilize the lucky charm.” He glances at the akuma, which is currently rampaging its way toward the Eiffel Tower.
