Thane shifted his weight, and his expression softened slightly. "I wanted to see everyone."
"And me?" Shepard was doing that thing where he didn't seem to blink while he talked to someone, focused so intently on them it was like standing in the direct line of a radiation blast. Thane seemed to be holding up better than most people under the glare, but maybe Kaidan was just still dazzled.
"And you," Thane said, his voice expressionless.
Shepard straightened, still holding Kaidan's hand. "You oughta come upstairs. The view is better."
Thane's eyes flicked to Kaidan, who only raised his eyebrows, since he had no idea how to explain "this is an intro to a threesome" with his eyes to a human, much less to a drell. Or how to tell if the message was received.
