Summary
In the near future, humanity has made first contact with the Mellifera, who establish friendly relations by taking a 'bride' (doesn't have to be a girl) from new planets/species. Placed on the vanguard of these efforts, Robert's dad has made the unilateral decision to heroically sacrifice his son, complete with a chip in his head that makes him a Stepford Wife.
Robert is all the more anguished and betrayed because the bastard could have just asked, and Man'dii, Seventh Fecundity of the Mellifera, is deeply insulted because it is Very Important that the bride be willing and in their right mind.

Summary
Toxic has been trying to figure out how to get away from these guys for a minute. Goddamn it, he's just like Mama, sometimes, and this is part of why he's so into older men! Every time he takes up with someone age-appropriate, it ends in fuckin' disaster. Like right now. Spider is in rehab, and because Toxic had to love an addict, he's running with these fucking psychopaths.
[...]
But just because the proverbial monkey cannot truly clamber up onto Toxic's back and take over his life, he can get just as stupid as anyone else, on enough of any sufficiently pure substance. Like that fucking insane crystal, from a special-order batch for speedfreak superheroes. And that's why he had done what he did to that fleshlight, as a really sick joke. Because he's a sick fuck. But now he's got way, way sicker fucks herding him into the basement of this vile fucking crackhouse they're based out of this week (seriously, when the roof falls in Toxic isn't even gonna blink) and he does not like the vibe.

Summary
SDN has given Elliot and Toxic one week to put their lives in order before they have to report in to be posted, and including court-mandated therapy, bullshit required group meetings to readjust to freedom or whatever, and preliminary on-boarding with SDN, that's not much time. Elliot has to get the keys to the little bungalow where he had barely ever actually lived because he's too smart to shit where he eats, arrange some kind of transportation to and fro that isn't his elderly mother driving him in a rental car, get the utilities hooked up, get food and toilet paper into the house, apply for a marriage license, try to replace at least some of the tech he lost to law enforcement...
Thank Christ Elliot had had the sense to launder his money, and to get some clean patents.

Summary
When the Z-Team catches an alien disease, Katon-Ur has an effective remedy for them, but it's... unusual. It's milk. It's milk from his alien tits, chemically treated with the correct ingredients, and Robert's prayers that this not awaken anything in him go unanswered.

Summary
Simon and Johnny’s relationship was held in the in-between. In soft kisses and warm hands clutching each other close under the cover of night. In steady heartbeats and the laughable sight of sleep-mussed hair. Johnny had traced every one of the scars that marred Simon’s face, and in turn, Simon had kissed away every blemish that Johnny thought he bore.
Johnny asked nothing more of Simon than what he was willing to give, and though the Sergeant seemed content with that, Ghost was not. He wanted. Oh, how he wanted.
