Gabriel attempts (key word: attempts) to apologize to Minos and Sisyphus for their executions, but it doesn't go as well as he had hoped.

"Everything happens so quickly. Sisyphus's expression turns to one of disgust, grabbing Gabriel by the neck and tossing him across the dining table. He's sent careening towards the fireplace, his body landing on utensils and plates, sending silverware flying from the force of the impact. By the time he rolled to a stop at the end of the table, he was deeply battered, with aching joints and bruised skin. Yeah, leaving his armor behind was a very stupid idea."

Gabriel chokes on air, tips of his wings turning a pretty pale pink. "Ah-hah, well, I mean- I thought you were already familiar with all of that already."
Of course his mind immediately goes to the gutter. V1 would roll its optic if it wasn't still horribly distracted by that bruise. So it amends its statement instead. [INTERNAL ANATOMY]
A beat as he processes the words.
"You mean… my organs?"

"It's kind of boring for the first few weeks before the insanity sets in, but after an indeterminable amount of time that depends on the individual, the general apathy numbs everything out and you snap back into sanity. Or deeper into insanity. Depends on your outlook, I guess."

Mirage is used to existing in a perpetual loop of running late to a school she will never arrive at, resigned to a boring, slice-of-life existence that didn't really have any meaning. Then she runs into two outliers of the loops: a machine called V1 and an angel called Gabriel. Now the loops are a little interesting, even if it is refereeing/popcorning at these two attempting to kill each other around the loop's strict rules of "no killing" and "no violence allowed".
The loop really likes its slice-of-life fluff, okay.
