Summary
Every day since they met, Jack had seen Robby trace the mark with his thumb. It was on the inside of his wrist, the D.W. a perfect image of the J.A. on the other arm. He had insisted that it was a sign the mark was real, that there was a balance, a third soul to be found. Sometimes, when Jack saw Robby sinking into the black pit of depression, when he couldn’t pull him out, he found himself believing it was true.
or: Robby and Jack finally meet the man whose mark they bear, but Dennis Whitaker isn't aware that he bears theirs.

Summary
The first time Henry sees it happen, he knows instantly that it is not the first time it has ever happened. They’re sitting in the living room of the brownstone, the two of them surrounded by their favorite people in the world, a night of board games long abandoned in favor of mocking the eighth season of Game of Thrones.
“God, don’t you have an off switch?” June groans, laughing as she chucks a piece of popcorn in Alex’s direction while he rambles passionately about the international legal implications of the Red Wedding. Nora cackles. “Whatever you do to thank Henry for putting up with you, it’s not nearly enough. Jesus, I can’t believe he put a ring on your loud mouth.”
Or: Alex is fine. Really, he’s fine — he just wants Henry to stay, even if Alex is too much. Henry just wants his husband back.

Summary
Four years ago, seventeen-year-old Alex was kidnapped by a man he was supposed to trust. In the aftermath, he disappeared from the spotlight with his father, quietly rebuilding his life. Now, his mother insists it's time for him to return to the world, starting with a very public reappearance at Prince Phillip’s royal wedding.
There, Alex meets Prince Henry, and the connection between them is instant and electric. But as their relationship deepens, Alex finds himself torn between falling for a closeted royal and preparing to face the man who once shattered his world in court.
Then, just as he begins to reclaim his voice and his future, a shocking revelation from his mother about the truth behind his abduction threatens to upend everything. Can Alex and Henry hold on to each other through the storm, or will the weight of secrets and scars be too much to bear?
