Vince flipped over, laying sort of diagonally with his neck and upper back on the headboard, “do I get a show, too, or are we doing this clothed?”
“We can do it clothed another time,” he hummed dismissively, shrugging off his button up, “I’d love to see you tied like this in nicer clothing.”
The chef tensed at the thought, picturing himself bound and restricted further by formal wear, maybe his chefs uniform—fuck, he wondered if Rody would ever fuck him at work. Vince squirmed, watching him take off his grey shirt next.

They go together like water and oil.
Vince is a food snob, despite his general lack of interest in aspects other than cooking. Rody has eaten food off the floor, and would again.
Vince is cool and calm when it comes to most things, the only time Rody has seen him express anything other than exasperation being- once again- matters of the kitchen. Rody wears his heart on his sleeve, laughing loudly when he’s happy, and making a mess of his face and shirt when he cries.
Vince is clearly not hurting for money, and probably never has in his life. Rody is holding on by a shoelace, his work ethic affording him only the smallest of comforts; a bike, and a place to lay his head.They can’t be any less alike.

It's hard coming to terms that he lost it all. His ex-girlfriend that won't answer his calls, and he's got no job to return to to be yelled at by his boss.
Unless, of course, he goes back and asks to be hired again.Though of course, Rody did not expect a full dinner service on a day the restaurant has to stay closed due to a flooding.
(Yes, the dinner is sex. Rody's had enough of bitter Vince cooking for a lifetime.)
