    Six months.

    That’s how long the ordeal had taken. Hunting down the Hunters of Artemis proved to be just as difficult as Leo expected, but that was only to blame for a few weeks of lost time. No, some of it had to have gone by with Leo’s desiccated corpse flying around on Festus before the physician’s cure took effect. Or perhaps some had gone by in the few moments he had been on Ogygia. But either way, Leo knew he had to get back to Camp Half-Blood and see his friends, his siblings. Even just the week after dropping Calypso off with the Hunters, flying by himself… it wasn’t good for his brain. He thought he’d go stir-crazy if he didn’t see a friendly face, something to take his mind off of all the thoughts that whirled around in his brain all the time:

    If he closed his eyes, he remembered all the lives he had lived. He bounced around from home to home, place to place, leaving behind the other kids. He hated leaving people behind. After Waco, after leaving behind that little girl-- He tried not to think about that. He tried not to think.
