Summary
King’s Landing was too hot. Hot, and loud, and reeking of rancid sea air and the rankness of too many bodies bustling in too tight a space. Jon hated it and he had hated it since the moment he saw the towers of the Red Keep and the city’s high walls from horseback in the procession that brought him to the capital. Jon tugged on the collar of his doublet, pulling it away from his neck to let what little breeze there was blow onto the sweaty skin there. Jon was not made for the South, he decided. He was a Snow, made for cold and ice. Not for thick sea air and the hot southern sun.
(Jon's lord father may be Hand of the King and his half-sister engaged to the prince but in King's Landing Jon Snow is nothing more than a bastard. Lonely and bored, Jon takes to walking the markets on the Street of Steel. Satin had come to King's Landing for a fresh start but finds himself living much the same as he had in Oldtown - wasting his days and working away his nights as a lowly whore in a brothel on the Street of Silk. By rights, they should never meet. By chance, they do. A story of friendship and love, desire and denial, push and pull, will and won't as two boys who were never supposed to fall in love do just that.)

A Slow Burning Fire, Tended With Care by Rosavalda_Freya

Summary
Satin felt the Lord Commander’s eyes following him as he worked. It was not an unfamiliar feeling, a man’s eyes on him. But it always felt different when Jon watched him. His eyes did not leer or ogle him with greedy heat. They simply watched. There was something inscrutable to those grey eyes – an intensity that was not hunger, a warmth that was not heat, an aloofness that was not cold. In the eyes of men Satin could read much; he knew in them lust, desire, anger, repulsion. But he could not read Jon Snow. It infuriated him. It intrigued him. It made him deeply, viscerally, uncomfortable.
(A continuation of ASOIAF, told from Satin’s POV. Starting mid-ADWD and moving beyond. A JonSatin centric tale of love, duty, and devotion. Welcome to a very, very slow burn as they dance around each other, push and pull, offer and resist, and become far more to one another than they ever expected)

Summary
Polly's comfortable back at The Duchess, with her well-worn routines and her well-worn life, and she's . . . absolutely not pining for her best friend, Mal, who forgot – hah! – to say goodbye before vanishing after the last peace negotiations. For the second time. Not that she's counting.
But when Commander Vimes personally asks her to come to Ankh Morpork and learn the ways of the City Watch, for the good of Borogrovia, she feels she can't say no. She's forgotten Mal, she absolutely has. But then a mysterious someone starts sending her coffee. And that's only the beginning . . .
