Summary
Another one of those "Yugi can't let go of Atem and time travels to Ancient Egypt, where they meet again" fics.
Because I was itching to write one myself.After risking his professional career by entering Atem's re-sealed tomb, Yugi finds the mummified remains of his former other self. Traumatized and slightly out of his mind, he spends the night in the tomb and eventually falls asleep. When he wakes up, the tomb has changed, and Yugi finds himself in the past, probably. He tries to think of a way to get into the palace in order to find Atem and everything spirals from there.
As for Atem, he's struggling to figure out if he made it to the afterlife or if he's finally allowed to live a peaceful life for once.
(Hoestly, this could probably be rated T, I'm just paranoid about the death and mummy stuff)

Summary
It has been ten months in Aaru and a year in the mortal plane since Atem's initiation in Aaru as the people and the Sacred Guardians in Aaru are working together to bring Aaru back to normalcy. Once fully initiated, Atem is not fully an ascended God and desires what he truly wants and that is to take Yugi finally as his spouse and to rule over Aaru by his side. However, to make that step happen, Yugi has to be fully accumulated to life in Aaru, as both of them navigate Yugi's drastic change from mortal life to becoming a divine royal and spouse of a God in Atem's world. During the navigation Yugi will be introduced to the people of Aaru, as he merges himself into the high society of Aaru life, including the eventual meeting with the Gods as he becomes family of the Gods. During his introduction to life in Aaru both Atem and Yugi will have to navigate the high society people in Aaru as they deal with changes in Aaru among how the people in Aaru will be accustomed to Yugi.

Summary
A year and a half after the battle with Diva. So many months after sealing the Quantum Cube in Kaiba’s labs. Yugi feels more than a bit lost and restless. The grief is still raw. Summary
One and a half years after the Ceremonial Duel, Yugi leads a normal life. A normal life, were it not for the fact that Yugi had no memories of most of his high school years. Now a gifted student of Egyptology due to his remarkable knowledge gained from his connection to the ancient past, he’s offered the chance to visit the Valley of the Kings as part of his curriculum.
On his visit, Yugi accidentally discovers a hidden room in a recently unsealed tomb. The mummy inside the sarcophagus yields a strange pendant, which Yugi is made to touch by these strangers who claim to know him. The next thing he knows, he is displaced and finds himself in the middle of a desert.This is Yugi’s start to reclaiming his memories, his identity and rediscovering a love so deeply connected to his soul it defies comprehension.
Or: In which Atem's parting triggers Yugi's memory loss, a trauma response to protect his heart and mind from the loss of half of his soul. Luckily, Atem will always find his aibou when he needs him most.
