JJ is in Canada and can't sleep. Yuri is in Japan and disgusted by dorks in love. These two things are unrelated.
Alternatively, very short thing I wrote for the timezones bingo square ages ago and decided to yeet out today because even if I wanted to write more I like where it ended and today is Random JJ day.

Summary
Phichit is an ordinary figure skater. As in, he skates and competes internationally. And when no one is in the locker room, he ties his laces with magic because he's lazy. Also sometimes he fights demons. Not alone though, he has a partner in crime, from Japan! No, not that one.
In which Yuri should not be playing around with old spellbooks, Phichit's rest day is rudely interrupted and an exorcism is performed.

Listen. Shane knew it was dumb to feel anything like jealousy over this stupid game. It was a stupid game when it didn't involve Ilya, and it was even stupider when it did. He should tune them out and leave them to it, like he always did.
But nobody was having sex with Ilya but him. Nobody else was even thinking about it.
Or - The Montreal Metros like to play Would You Rather. For some reason, sex with Ilya comes up a lot.

Summary
In another life, Irina Rozanova dies. In this one, she takes twelve year old Ilya and runs.
They arrive in Calgary, Alberta, with two passports and no luggage. Years later, hockey still carries Ilya toward Shane Hollander, but this time, they don't meet as rivals and instead build something neither of them is ready for.
But Ilya has learned never to trust warmth in the middle of winter.
The cold always comes back.

Summary
Shane texts, “Hi! Are you free tonight? I know it’s soon but we’re leaving town tomorrow for a few days, and I’d love to see you.”
Ilya would have made fun of him for that message. Ilya would have just gotten a “come over.” Ilya would have responded “where is romance, Hollander?” and Shane would say, “I’m fucking starting without you.” And Ilya would be at his door in 20 minutes.
Shane doesn’t think that would work on Sveta.
Or: What if Svetlana were Rose Landry?
