Summary
Kaname Kuran has a problem.
Zero Kiryuu is dying.
Not quickly enough to be convenient, unfortunately.
The blood tablets aren’t working, her control is deteriorating, and the Hunter he carefully chose to become a weapon against Rido is proving to be considerably more complicated than expected. She cooks his dinner, feeds stray cats, threatens to shoot him, and apparently has enough compassion to make Kaname question several years’ worth of carefully constructed assumptions.
This is inconvenient.
Especially because Kaname already has enough reasons to avoid looking too closely at Zero. She resembles someone he lost a very long time ago, and guilt has a habit of becoming troublesome when given too much attention.
So naturally, his solution is to become involved in her life.
What could possibly go wrong?
Probably everything.
Because the more Kaname sees of Zero, the harder it becomes to remember that she was supposed to be nothing more than a weapon.
And eventually, he has to wonder whether he wants to save his weapon—or keep her.

Summary
Fifty years after defeating the Demon King, the Hero Party reunites for the meteor shower.
Everything goes exactly as expected.
Except Himmel still looks twenty-six.
Now Heiter is abusing his authority as Archbishop to raid ancient church archives, Eisen is digging through dwarven history, Frieren is dragging Himmel to meet the oldest and most terrifying elf alive, and Himmel is trying very hard to convince everyone that “mysteriously not aging” is probably not worth making a fuss over.
Unfortunately for him, his friends have decided this is absolutely everyone’s problem now.

Summary
Sasuke watches Itachi kill their parents in cold blood and he cries and rages, but in the back of his mind he’s confused. He sees the coldness in Itachi’s eyes and the contempt on his face, but his soul aches. Itachi’s emotions are a whirlwind of fear, regret, and they feel to Sasuke as if they’re losing themselves in guilt. The emotion Itachi is giving to Sasuke does not match what he’s trying to emote from his face.
Itachi leaves Sasuke in a pool of blood that doesn’t belong to him and a clan of only one.
