Summary
There were rumors milling around that Umbrella had seized a portion of Albert's research after his death. A strange rumor, no doubt, given he was certain all of the evidence had been burned up with the Spencer Mansion and hidden laboratory. Yet one of his sources had passed the information through a secure system of channels to reach him as he reassessed his situation going forward. His eyes had turned towards the data he had collected so far and found much of that was severely lacking. No credible organization would be willing to accept his employment anytime soon without concrete proof of his accomplishments. He needed a bargaining chip, at the very least, something worth selling to the highest bidder so he could finance his own exploits going forward.
His old research needed a bit of refining but if Umbrella’s elites had done just that in their own time, then perhaps this was a golden goose waiting to be snatched up by a curious wolf. Perhaps he would enter the good graces of The Connections after all.
