He had finally managed to get away. He had been trying to escape Vlad for so long, and in the end all it had taken was a crowded gala and Vlad getting caught up in a conversation with a potential “business partner”, and Danny was able to slip away from his place standing like a trophy at Vlad's side.
But Danny wasn't out of danger yet.
