When H wakes up in a deserted hospital, she expects to find doctors, nurses, and someone who can explain why she's there. Instead, she finds empty hallways, flickering lights, and a world that seems to have vanished overnight.
Then she meets Rick Grimes.
He's a deputy sheriff who woke from a coma to find the same empty hospital—and just as many unanswered questions.
Together, they leave the hospital in search of their families, their answers, and anyone else who might still be alive. But the world they've stepped into isn't the one they remember.
