Summary
The first warning came from the trees.
They stopped moving.
That was what Pytor remembered most.
The Veyr’natha forests had always moved.
Even when there was no wind, the branches drifted.
But that morning, they had become still.
Completely still.
Then the ground shook...

Summary
Peter rocks up on Nelson and Murdock’s doorstep looking every bit the part of a drowned rat. He tells them he is nothing but a young man with a dead family and a suspicious claim to a fortune left behind by Tony Stark himself. The letter clenched in his fists tells them he is a liar. A cheat who manipulated an ailing billionaire into giving him everything he wanted.
Peter’s heartbeat, however, tells Matt that he is terrified. That somewhere beneath the corrupted records and missing memories and Peter’s carefully constructed lies there is an unmistakable truth that Matt has heard before.
Peter Parker is Spider-Man. And Peter Parker needs his help. If only Matt could remember the last time he apparently did this exact same thing before.
—
Stark Industries check their financial records. And, in Peter, see nothing but a fraud. A boy no one recognises being left a substantial trust fund by Tony Stark himself? The thought is laughable. So, they will do everything in their power to protect Tony Stark’s legacy.
—
Or, the story that explains how Peter could afford that apartment in Brand New Day. And how he almost lost it.

Summary
Zemo doesn't consider himself much of a catch.
Bucky disagrees. Strongly.
So when Zemo admits he's not entirely sure who he'd even want to date, Bucky offers to help him figure it out.
It's a perfectly reasonable plan.
Right up until Bucky realises that his own type is, apparently, freckled Sokovian men who know their way around a sword.
