Summary
The final night at Nevermore ended in the most devastating of farewells: a stripped-bare room and a dark-inked letter, as Wednesday Addams vanished into thin air, leaving Enid shattered in the dark.
Nearly ten years later, When Enid accepts a job offer in the Canadian wilderness alongside an old classmate, she believes she is embarking on a fresh professional chapter. But a cruel twist of fate awaits her.
"Welcome aboard!" a warm smile illuminated Agnes's face "Let's go meet your boss!"
"I thought you were my boss"
Enid followed her down a quiet, solemn corridor. Her werewolf instincts, suddenly snapped to high alert, as if sensing a familiar electricity in the air.Behind the desk, a high-backed executive chair pivoted smoothly on its axis, revealing the figure seated within.
Enid’s breath caught instantly in her throat. She stared at the petite woman seated before he.
A pair of pitch-black eyes fixed upon her, betraying a shock and bewilderment. Her twin braids were gone, replaced by a single braid cascading gracefully down her back, while loose strands framed her forehead and the sides of her face. Her full lips were parted in an expression of pure astonishment:"Wednesday?"
