Summary
This work comes in 3 arcs.
“Watch yourself,” Wanderer’s voice betrayed none of the nervousness his face did. Save for a few pestering exceptions, he was not in the habit of letting others get near him, literally or metaphorically. Belatedly, he was finding that principle already surrendered to The Alchemist’s… to Albedo’s persistence. The panic he felt at the back of his neck came on so suddenly he jerked. It would have gone unnoticed if he was with anyone other than him. He swallowed.
“I would, had I not found myself already preoccupied watching someone else,” came Albedo’s reply, his tone hushed. “You’re fascinating. I wish to see you, to know more of you.”
Something intense shone in his eyes. He was closer than ever before to Wanderer, at least, in this version of the world’s events.
The tension finally snapped.
Kunikuzushi and Albedo are secret lovers that hurt as much as they love each other. These memories are erased, and they meet again as new people. Maybe second chances do exist, in the end.
Based on me never letting go of those paintings from Irodori festival.

Summary
Saying he misses Childe is an understatement — hell, even the word understatement is an understatement.
Wanderer bites down hard on his tongue and straightens the stack of sheets in his grasp, stiffly poking the edges into rigid compliance and setting them in a perfectly straightened stack besides him, drawing a sharp lacquer pen from the pillowy interior of his sleeve and idly swinging it tightly between his fingers.He hates the way he does. He absolutely despises it. If anything, if he had a heart that would keep betraying him like this he’d find bittersweet beauty in the concept of something delving into the cavity of his chest and tearing it to shreds right in front of his own gaze just so he won’t have to deal with the agonising murmurs of what “missing” feels like. His own sentimentality… it almost disgusts him.
In which the corruption of Irminsul slowly starts to rejuvenate the world’s memories, and Wanderer finds himself back in Childe’s arms in the last way he could’ve hoped for.

Summary
Kunikuzushi doesn’t know a ‘Captain Beidou’ but he guesses it must be whoever commands the ship that Kaedehara had just gotten off of. He takes a moment to think about Kaedehara’s rather quick invitation as Nahida’s words echo in his mind once more. “Whether or not you do so in Sumeru is up to you.” It seems the tiny god has already foreseen that he’d be traveling to another nation, and Kunikuzushi would bet that she even knew they’d be headed for Inazuma.
“When do we leave?” He finally agrees, though not because of Buer or the traveler; he knows what needs to be done if he is to be freed from the shackles of his past actions, and it’s something he cannot do without Kaedehara.
OR
After spending 3 years in Sumeru, Nahida informs Kunikuzushi that she thinks it’s time he settles those old debts from his past. The traveler helps introduce him to Kaedehara Kazuha, who invites him to travel through Inazuma together. Little does Kunikuzushi know that accepting the samurai’s offer won’t lead to the merciful death he hopes for but a long, difficult journey of self-love and forgiveness.

“I find you fascinating.”
His heart skipped. Then hammered hard enough that he was certain is was visible in his throat. It felt embarrassing, inconvenient… Dangerous.
He scoffed to cover it. “That’s weird.”
“Is it?” Albedo asked lightly. “I don’t think so.”
A beat.
“I haven’t quite decided whether you’re inconvenient or compelling.”

Summary
The boy holds his hand and brings it close, unable to part with his friend for long. He doesn’t have a pulse – never has, which doesn’t help reassure him at all. He can’t be certain that his friend is even there anymore until he gives a sign.
“Hat Guy… you have to wake up, okay? There’s so many people worried about you, waiting for you. I’m waiting for you, too. I…I don’t know what I’ll do without you. So please come back to us...”
As if responding to his words, Hat Guy’s fingers twitch in his hold. He slowly lowers his feet to the ground and stands up, albeit groggily. Durin helps steady him, the puppet looks as though he just woke up from a long slumber.
Durin’s anxiety turns to joy. “H-hat Guy! Are you-“
Hat Guy blinks at him. “...Who are you?”

Wanderer doesn't come out fully unscathed from the removal of his core, losing his memories in the process.
