Summary
The humans within the Digital Circus always assumed that Bubble was one of Caine's creations. Something akin to an imaginary friend which the AI could use to generate punchlines for stupid jokes. They assumed that Bubble was deleted alongside his master.
As is often the case with assumptions, they were quite far from the truth. Caine didn't create Bubble; his assistant showed up all on his own, hungry and unafraid to poke at a highly advanced AI. And the once-lonely virus was not happy to see his only friend thrown away.

Summary
Set after the finale.
Caine and Pomni's relationship has been steadily growing in the aftermath of the latest abstraction. Caine has been struggling with the changes that the humans have made to his digital realm, but with Pomni by his side, he finds himself beginning to adjust to this new normal.
When Caine detects a security breach affecting critical parts of his code, everything goes horribly wrong. Now, it's up to Caine to investigate who is targeting the humans, and discover the common threads that link their real world lives together.
