A soulmate AU where your soulmate's name is tattooed somewhere on your arm, written in their favorite color.
Throw in superheroes in the future, children of heroes from the past, you're going to get a lot. Chaos, friendship, angst, romance, you know, the biggies.

Summary
You’re a total wreck, your hands are shaking, and Dante looks like he’d honestly rather fight a horde of demons than stand in front of this chapel. But the moment his warm hands lock onto yours, the nerves don't matter anymore. For a guy who has spent his whole life running on luck and a cynical smirk, giving you his entire heart in front of a crowded room is the scariest thing he's ever done—but he wouldn't trade it for the world.
(Or: The one where the script gets thrown out, and Dante finally says those three words.)Series

Summary
Lucy Heartfilia is a junior magic auditor for the Magic Regulatory Bureau — which means her days are full of paperwork, confiscation orbs, and telling reckless mages to stop selling screaming potions.
Unfortunately, one of those mages is Natsu Dragneel: unlicensed fire caster, part-time chaos merchant, and full-time pain in her meticulously regulated life.
Every week, she raids his shop. Every week, he greets her with illegal fireworks, bizarre loopholes, and the world’s most irritating grin.
She files airtight reports. He slips through on technicalities. It’s infuriating.
Now the Bureau’s given her an ultimatum: One more violation, and he’s done for good.
Lucy should be thrilled. She should be drafting the shutdown order already.
So why does it feel like the real danger isn’t his magic… but the fact that she’s starting to look forward to catching him?

"He’d rather bleed to death than let anyone see him carry it."
In the dark, Dante wakes up shaking, fingers hooked into torn bedding and teeth bared for an argument to drown out the noise in his head.
A few hours later, he’s cornered at the kitchen table by a plate of strawberries and an "I love you" he can't joke his way out of.
