    What, you’re not sold yet? Shane gets shafted by the Alpha-archy- because THE MAN amiright- and sold down-river to remind the Omega of his place. Many, many hijinks ensue, neither Shane nor Ilya are what the other expects. And there’s a guy who bites people, ignores boundaries, has a paperwork kink, and runs on VIBES.

    Also, the beginning of the story starts with the end, so throughout the angst, you get a taste of HEA before it all goes to shit.

Out of fear he accidentally creates a parental bond with Scott, turning the alpha into his new guardian.

    Now he gets to live a life never thought was possible. He’s in a home with parents who somehow love him even at his worst, and he’s in therapy learning how to cope with his traumas. Scott introduces him back into hockey, he has teammates and friends, and maybe something more with the Centaurs captain, Shane Hollander.

    Ilya just hopes this is a life he’s allowed to have. And hope is a dangerous thing.
