Calum shrugged, laughing, these full body laughs and turned back to Michael, who had a confused expression.
“What are you laughing at?”
“You went through all of this effort to make me a “congrats you’re done with finals” cake and yet I really thought it was for something else,” Calum said, pointing to the dishes.
“What?”
“Really, I thought you would ask me something,” Calum shrugged. “But I guess I was wrong.”
Michael panicked, “Wait, what? Was I supposed to ask you something?”
Calum gave him a serious look and Michael panicked even more. His heart was racing. What was he supposed to ask Calum? There’s nothing that he had done wrong, and obviously Calum would never do anything wrong, so what’s left?
"Can I kiss you?”
