Ten years ago, Tommy was a terrified gay man working under a horrendous boss and surrounded by homophobia all his life. While on vacation far away from LA, he decides to brave a gay club for the night, just looking to be around some other people like him without constantly looking over his shoulder.
He never expects to meet Evan Buckley, but they don't see each other again after that weekend - neither in a mental headspace to ask for the others number.

LAFD put out a new requirement. They want the firehouses to each host a group therapy sort of session where everyone gets to talk and learn more about each other in effort to make them more efficient on calls together.
Frank isn't very excited to be starting with the 118, but the new crew that's been working together are pretty interested to see how it goes.

Summary
Buck was still reeling a bit from what Maddie told him about having a brother. About Daniel. So he decides he needs to confront Chimney, because it's too obvious that she told him about the big family secret that Buck knew nothing about. Bobby agrees to let them use his office as a sort of neutral ground for discussions because he doesn't like his firefighters being at odds, especially after what he put Buck through after the lawsuit.
Things ... turn out better than Buck expected.

Summary
Buck decides to pick up Taylor's book while he's out getting a new one for the book club he joined. It was a thing and it was most likely about his firehouse so he might as well, right? Except ... it's about so much more. Feeling a little ... spiteful? Maybe? Anyway, he opens his Instagram and posts a series of him reviewing her book for the masses.
Maddie thinks it's hilarious.
Ravi wants to be like Buck when he grows up.
