Summary
Kara’s spent her entire life doing what other people expected of her – her entire being evolved around pleasing others: Her father, her mother, her brother… Everything in her life was about what others wanted from her.
In simple terms, Kara is tired.
What would happen if she did one thing for herself? One thing that involved kryptonite green eyes, raven black hair, and pale, pale skin?
Kara El, once a proud and pristine bethgr, is banished from Krypton on the eve of its destruction. She finds herself on Earth with a broken family that wants her, a brother who she can barely even look in the eyes, and a growing fascination with a young CEO that had grabbed at the strings of her heart before she could even realize what happened.
Can she find her way through her duplicitous life, or will she be lost within the demons of her past and the looming threats that appear on the horizon?

Summary
‘Evil is evil... Lesser, greater, middling, it’s all the same. Proportions are negotiated, boundaries blurred. I’m not a pious hermit. I haven't done only good in my life. But if I’m to choose between one evil and another, then I prefer not to choose at all.’
Everything changed the day Emma Swan disappeared into Jefferson’s hat. When she returns, she’s no longer the same person that left. She turns Regina’s life upside down and leave the Mayor gasping for breath.
As elusive threats loom on the horizon, can they put a stop to the dark forces that want to pull them apart? Or will they perish underneath the boots of their oppressors?

Summary
Karedec runs a hand through his hair, a sigh wracking his body. "You know, for the most brilliant woman I have ever met, it's actually surprising to me that you haven't figured this out."
Morgan smirks, a coy sparkle in her eyes. "I never said that I didn't have it figured out, I said that I wanted you to tell me." She drops her other hand from the door and gives him her full attention.
"Uh huh. So you have this all wrapped in a tight little bow? Exactly what I'm thinking right now?"
Morgan shrugs. "More or less, but I won't know for certain until you tell me. Either that or we can just stand here on my porch all night but I'm sure you're freezing by now and— have I mentioned that I am really hungry?" She's looking back up at him now, a brilliant blue in her eyes that he never saw anywhere else.
A light chuckle escapes Karadec as he relaxes a little. "Morgan, you astound me. You know that?"

“You okay?”
She swivels her head to find Karadec looking at her, those dark, expressive eyes of his trained on her. Does he know? It feels like he knows. Even though there would be no way for him to know. And there might not even be anything to know at all.
