    Summary

    1. Write down the names of 10 characters.
    2. Write a fic of fifteen words or less for every prompt, (mine are actually 10-70 words) using the characters determined by the numbers. Do NOT read the prompts before you do step 1.

    Prompts are First Time, AU, Threesome, Hurt/Comfort, Baby fic, Dark, Death, Fantasy, Crack fic, Horror, and Angst.

    Each title states the prompt, characters, pairings and fandoms. Any warnings are in the chapter notes. Some pairings are obviously romantic, some are obviously not but most you can read either way.

    If one of these inspires you to actually write a longer piece you are welcome to do so as long as you let me know.

    Sighing, Mischa ran a hand through his sleep-disheveled hair and took pity on her. "Take the bed. I will take floor."

    She opened her mouth to speak and realized that she had nothing to say. 'Thank you' was the appropriate response, but the only actual things that came to mind were 'no, that's okay' — even though it wasn't — and 'I should go, I'm sorry' — even though she felt like she couldn't.

    "Ocean. I will take floor," Mischa repeated firmly, already on the move to gather a few more blankets to make himself a nest on the floor beside the bed. "It's late. We sleep. We can talk tomorrow."

    That was the first time Ocean O'Connell Rosenberg took shelter in Mischa Bachynskyi's bed.

    OR

    Ocean can't take the drum circles and pot smoke while she's trying to sleep anymore, and she doesn't know where else she should go at 2am on a school night. A tight friendship comes out of it.

    With his encouragement and the bear hug he'd pulled her into, Ocean was thrown back to a simpler time, when she and Noel were attached at the hip, and the sun rose and set just for them. The way she'd drag him into situations that frightened him and she'd force him out of his comfort zone, beaming with pride when he'd take the leap of faith.

    It was a time when their childish innocence gave them the freedom to trust one another implicitly. Ocean willed herself to slip into little Ocean's shoes again; to trust so fully in Noel that she wouldn't be afraid anymore because he'd never let anything bad happen to her and she'd never let anything bad happen to him. They were best friends; what could possibly go wrong as long as they had each other?

    OR

    Ocean has a panic attack and Noel uses nostalgia to pull her out of it.
