The Jedi were never able to stamp out Etain's anger or keep her from forming attachment. Which was just as well when it turned out that anger and attachment are exactly what the galaxy needs to right itself.
Or:
Etain cuts Palpatine in half and then yells at everyone until they listen to her.

Gabrielle Delacour was saved from the Black Lake by none other than Britain's notorious Harry Potter. Rather than put the boy on a pedestal, the precocious French witch becomes his pen pal, his friend, and then more.
The initial idea was to have the least creepy Gabrielle/Harry story I could, without wildly changing ages or anything. I've read a few fun romance stories with the pairing, but often Gabrielle is aged up or veela shenanigans are story elements.
At first I thought I could keep it tight to canon, but the truth is that as soon as Harry starts talking to, and trusting, people outside his friend group and Dumbledore, things deviate. Not to the extent of my other stories though.
All content is letters between Harry and Gabrielle. Communications mentioned but not shown between these two and other characters are left to the reader's imagination. Some letters between the two are skipped as well, usually for narrative purposes.
'Correspondants' is French for Pen Pals (according to the internet).

Summary
Percy Weasley has a plan for everything. Every hour accounted for, every ambition mapped cleanly from his OWLs to the Ministry, every distraction neatly avoided before it can take root. It is a system that has served him rather well for his first three years at Hogwarts.
In his fourth, however, something changes. It begins, unremarkably, with a simple attempt to enforce a reasonable level of order and quiet in the Gryffindor Common Room. It ends, quite inexplicably, with a recurring problem: namely, that Audrey Sullivan, a girl a year his junior, has decided that he is, most troublingly, worth teasing and tormenting relentlessly.
What follows is a series of increasingly ill-advised encounters in which Percy finds himself interrupted, questioned, and subjected to ever more flustering provocations he cannot seem to deflect adequately. Audrey does not adhere to rules or expectations, and appears to take particular pleasure in dismantling all his carefully laid plans piece by piece.
Percy, for his part, refuses to dignify any of this with further thought. Which would be far more convincing if he would only stop thinking about her.
