Buck’s head is spinning. He looks at the screen with furrowed brows, “you’re…thinking of coming back…?”
Eddie reassures him that Buck wouldn’t be kicked out, that he’d just need to give up his couch, the same couch Tommy had basically claimed as his second favorite spot in the house—the first being wherever Buck was at any time of day. It was where he’d always find the older man whenever he found himself left alone for more than five minutes.
“You went out there to be Christopher’s dad.” He pauses for a second before telling Eddie, “you can’t come back.”
