    Summary

“You’re not what I expected, Gustave,” She eventually settles on, somehow saying his name exactly as Verso had before leaving.

“I guess we’ll see if that ends up being to my detriment or not,” He replies and she finally relinquishes her hold on Gustave’s chair, who immediately pulls back from the table and stands.

“You will grow to resent meeting him,” She says finally as he turns around.

“You’re probably right,” He replies without looking at her.

    ——-

Gustave’s life before meeting Verso had been normal, routine, scheduled. Suddenly after one night everything in his life has become … complicated.

The more he learns about the ways the Dessendre’s operate, the deeper into their web he entangles himself in, the harder it seems to draw himself out.

    War changed people.

Gustave had left Paris to serve with honor, but when he finally returned home, he was a shell of himself—broken in more ways than one. It seemed wholly unfair that Verso Dessendre had come out unscathed.

He was under a spell, he had to be. Verso couldn't stop touching him, pleasing him, loving him. “Just one more.”

Gustave sobbed beneath him, helpless, pliant, willing.

    Just one more.

    Summary

"Hello?" A deep voice said as a man opened the door.

Gustave stood frozen like a deer in headlights. At this moment several thoughts crossed his mind at the same time.

One, that had to be the hottest guy he had ever seen in his life.
Two, this was decidedly not Alicia's apartment.
And three... Gustave was still wearing a baby pink bunny suit, with fishnets and a too-deep neckline.

    Fuck his life.
