Summary
Bang Chan is more engrossed in his work than usual, forgetting many things and almost never having time for himself or the people around him, until in his only moment of distraction someone crossed his path, or rather, crossed his mind, his friend Jungkook, how long had it been since he'd seen him? Seeing him made him miss him more than he had in all this time.
Or
Jungkook has just ended a long-term relationship and finds no comfort in anything or anyone, until nostalgia makes him remember a face, Chan's face.

Summary
This story currently is intended to be a complete standalone but has potential threads that can be continued elsewhere later.
In an alternate world, Eddie Brock and the Other first meet when Brock signs himself up for the human trials at the Life Foundation. What happens when two outcasts find each other? This fic happens. It's almost like the universe meant for them to be together.
Welcome to San Francisco, the sunny city our messiest antiheroes fondly call home. Welcome to Venom's newest origin story. Please take a seat if you want our favorite couple to be cruelly ripped apart then eventually reunited after fighting villains, both human and alien, as well as their own self destructive tendencies.
Equally important arcs to expect: Andi Benton's beginning and Riot's evolution. (It's a crime Andi wasn't in the movies. Also Riot snuck in and I became invested in their perspective.)
