And so, something happens that Qifrey will remember fir the next 80 years of his life, if he ever gets to live that long with turning into a silverwood tree. Actually, the stress it gives him is enough for the silverwood tree to retreat, so may he can.
When Olruggio opens the box and take out whatever's in there, he pulls out lingerie. Lingerie. Of all things. It's color is a sleek, black, two piece of clothing that looks incredibly comfortable and dangerously sexy at the same time. It's translucide, so that means he can see through the cloth. It would show the full body of the person who's wearing it. Meaning, Olruggio would be wearing see through clothing.
Qifrey, to his credit, doesn't immediately get a heart attack. Feels like he should get an award for that. He doesn't get a heart attack later, surprisingly, so that's new.
Instead, he just freezes. Not a single sound comes out of his mouth. His movements are completely halted, not even the twitch of a finger moving. He just. Stopped working for a bit.
Or:
Olruggio gets lingerie from a client. Qifrey loses his mind a little bit ( a lot)

Summary
A series of 5+1 vignettes throughout Qifrey and Olruggio's lives all centering around Olly's facial hair. Takes place pre-canon through post-canon.
“It’s your, um, beard,” says Qifrey. To call it a beard is a bit of an overstatement. Dark hairs sprout from the edges of his friend’s face, some in patches and others as lone soldiers in wide expanses of skin.
“You like it?” Olly’s eyes light up and he instinctually runs his hand over his jaw once more. “I think it’s coming in pretty nicely if I do say so myself.” The smugness with which Olly turns his chin, as if to get his face in just the right light from the lamp next to him, tips Qifrey back off the edge and into safer territory.
“Maybe if you’re trying to grow a swordcarrot garden on your face,” Qifrey quips. “And a patchy one at that.”Bookmarked by Redbug
