Coerced into marrying the cunning Lianfang-zun by Jin Guangshan's machinations, Jiang Cheng is trying to keep his tattered sect and his surviving family afloat while weighed down by grief and the burden of his duties as a sect leader.
The balance of power in the cultivation world rests on their match, grounded in secrets and betrayal. With the odds against them and everything set to drive them apart, how can these two men ever come to trust each other, much less do the impossible and fall in love?

(Or: the one where in the aftermath of a night hunt, Jiang Cheng's terrible self-care is pitted against Meng Yao's wily way of showing affection.)

Summary
By the time he was fifteen and a half, Meng Yao had decided the following:
He would become a cultivator of renown. He would join his father's sect, and rise within it to the highest rank of his capabilities. And he would discover who had killed his father, and avenge his mother's grief.
Jin Guangshan dies under mysterious circumstances while Meng Yao is still a child and Meng Shi is still in love. Nine years later, Meng Yao strikes out for Jinlintai with his mother's blessing to join Lanling Jin and train as a cultivator - and to find out the truth behind his birth father's conveniently "accidental" death. Along the way, he finds love, monsters, family, and murderers; but Lanling Jin does not give up its secrets easily, and Jin Guangshan's sins are inextricably tied to the reputation of his wealthy, prestigious clan.
Meng Yao will need all his courage and cunning to survive the power struggle brewing at the heart of Jinlintai, as a plague of monsters spreads across the land and the foundations of the secular empire's power tremble. Is he doomed to a tragic end? (Or are the real fairy godmothers the friends and family he makes along the way?)

Wei Ying was sitting behind him. Wei Ying's chest was against his back Wei Ying's thighs were bracketing his hips Wei Ying's breath was on his ear—
The array stuttered and flared.
Even when Wei Wuxian isn't the Yiling Laozu, Lan Wangji has to put up with a lot in order to keep his zhiji alive and in one piece.

Summary
Six months after Jin Guangshan's death, three young adults undertake a journey to collect the last member of their fragile new family. Three-year-old Mo Xuanyu joins his siblings - Jin Zixuan, Meng Yao and Qin Su - as they navigate their way to a future built on stubborn car-seats, rainbow sneakers, plush seals and tomato-egg rice.
A character study disguised as a once-in-a-lifetime roadtrip. An exploration of generational trauma, imperfect healing and finding the courage to be a family.
Told through the eyes of Jin Zixuan, this is an effort to give the Jin siblings a kinder, gentler ending than canon while acknowledging the long and difficult journey of confronting cycles of inherited pain.

Summary
During the Sunshot Campaign, the Two Lords had wed and consolidated their power and authority over their newly joined territory and then shown up to the battlefield astride dragons to win what should have been an unwinnable war. Lan Xichen, the Lord of Jade, was beautiful and possessed a brilliant tactical mind; Nie Mingjue, the Lord of Blades, fierce and formidable. They had collected warriors and rulers to their side in the aftermath, though without the fierce expansionist tendencies against which the war had been fought.
Two years after the end of the Sunshot Campaign, negotiations commence for the marriage of Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan. Caught between his father's ambitions and a family he'd never anticipated finding for himself, Meng Yao finds himself fighting a war against his own nature.
