Summary
Exile has been hard on Garak's connection to the Web.
After Julian is abducted, Garak launches into action to rescue him. This means calling in old favors, pulling some strings, and collaborating with people he'd really rather not.
(A fix-it fic to Dance the Double Jeux that doesn't contain any of its erotic horror, and hopefully makes up for it with the 'oof' ending.)

Paramnesia: An inability to distinguish between real and fantasy memories, as when one remembers as genuine those events imagined or hallucinated in dream.
After Extreme Measures, Julian struggles with experiencing Sloan's memories as his own. The more he dreams, the more the memories take their toll, especially when he starts seeing encounters with himself through Sloan's eyes that he doesn't remember.

"They were my mother's favorites. I once pulled an entire bed of seedlings thinking they were weeds. She didn’t scold me, though. Just said I was the sort who sometimes requires a little tragedy to learn my lesson.”
Miloš asks more and more of Piotr. Piotr gives, because isn't that what you do for love?

Summary
Julian scoffed. As if he could make Garak do anything and Julian certainly did not force him to finish that cream pie. “But you didn’t agree to that offer. You know, I could have you arrested for breaking into my holosuite.”
“If you insist. Though…,” said Garak, his voice trailing off as he grabbed the tennis ball paused and floating mid-air. Julian watched his fingers flex as he bounced the ball up and down against the clay ground. Catch and release. “That wouldn’t be very fun for either of us, would it, Doctor?”
“I was fine and having fun. If I’d wanted company, I would have extended an invitation.”
“Hm. I suppose. But I can replace the computer. Or would you really prefer to play by yourself?”

It's Julian's birthday. He should be excited to be alive and turning thirty yet he can't stop thinking about what happened in his mind only a few days prior. He can't stop thinking of Garak.

Summary
Post-canon Cardassia vignettes, inspired by The Cure's "Mint Car."
Very light, very fluffy, very self-indulgent.
Hey, the world may be half-destroyed, but Cardassia rebuilds, Cardassia survives - and in the meantime, infatuation is a power unto itself. Even survivors fall in love, as Elim Garak is finding out. (Julian Bashir is pleased to assist.)
