Summary
Something itches beneath Tommy's shoulder blades. It aches, with longing and pain and something he can't place. It pounds in his head and with his pulse.
He thought it was just hunger or pain from ill-healed wounds, but this has gone on for days, only growing, slowly, steadily in strength. It's taken over most any other thoughts- he's in too much pain to complain much about the crippling loneliness or the cold or hunger that ate away ate him. He wants to rip it out, pull the roots from his nervous system like a weed. He wants to burn it, to freeze it, something to stop how it grows and gnaws away at his sanity.
He can feel the careful thread that is TommyInnit fraying, burnt and beaten and tattered. He wants to escape, so, so badly. There's nothing but blood and gunpowder here. But he has nowhere to go now.(or i wanted to throw tommy in a blender and ended up with this)

Summary
There is a tree in L'Manberg- not L'Mantree, no. It is large and looming and remains unharmed by the wars and death that surrounded it. But it is not untouched- there are marks and nicks that show those who laid beneath it before, carved in with love and fondness.
It takes years for Tommy to realize that most things in the world- especially beautiful ones- do not remain unscathed.

Death is an outlier amongst other Gods. She has existed before Time and Life and Chaos and War and all the others. She has stood, a pillar of unchanging duty, since before the Universe was fully formed, taking the hands of the things and beings that crumbled at their Creation.
She was close to most of them, motherly in her watchful gaze. Life, the closest of all. She smiled gently, palms colder than the fresh corpses she grazed over, and walked every iteration of It into the Void, for It to be reborn again, anew, once more.
She watched over It's creations, curious and careful, and guided all of them. No matter how cruel, no matter how kind, Death came for them all, with Void eyes and wings.

Summary
Grian had been running for what felt like hours, gliding through the deep void in an attempt to escape the Watchers.
After finally finding a server to hide in he quickly realises that it was, in fact, not abandoned as he had assumed.When Xisuma went to check the new Hermitcraft Server he saw an intruder hack into it - quite literally.
Though it quickly turns out that the intruder was more a fugitive, running away from the very monsters the admin hated with his entire being.Walking a thin line between truth and lie Grian tries his best to cling to the new safe haven to heal up and hide from his captors, making more connections than he had preferred.
Sadly the Watchers had their own plans with their little disobedient experiment. -

"Do you think this is the end of the world?"
The question came out of nowhere, breaking the silence the two had been in since they climbed into Wilbur's car. Tommy's voice was soft, no brashness, no laughter hiding behind his words. He was tired. Wilbur was too.
"It might be," Wilbur admitted, voice just as soft. "Certainly seems biblical enough."
There have always been a few constants in Wilbur Soot's life. The fact that his father can't make bacon without burning it, the squeaky floorboard right outside his bedroom door that he's never been able to keep from stepping on, and the ever watchful Eye.
The Eye has sat in the sky for as long as Wilbur can remember. No one else can see the Eye, so he learned to stop talking about it long ago. He didn't need everyone in town thinking he was crazy for seeing a giant Eye in the sky.
Until one day, a teenager with a loud mouth moves to town. And with the way he keeps looking up at the sky, Wilbur starts to wonder if maybe, just maybe, he can see it too.

Tommy blinked at the guy, expecting him to yell, “Sike, you thought!” and give his real order. But no, this guy was serious.
Definitely a teacher then.
OR Tommy is a vigilante with a troubled past, and the one thing his taxes are good for is helping him find a found family who accept and protect him, emotional baggage and all
