Summary
Aegon's life is dreadful: the maester can't manage to invent a cure for the heat, the feasts all blur into one another, and neither the pointed jabs of some naive lord nor the steward's daughters do anything to save him from tearful hangovers and fears. Aegon secretly abandons the hill bearing his grandfather's name in the kingdom's capital and sets off on a journey to a neighboring region, where he might indulge in a different kind of extravagance as a rest from the last one. Along the way he listens to sailors' tales of the Reach, plays dice with armorers, eats candied apples, insults his hired man, pets cats, drinks wine, tells fishermen everything he knows about farmers' superstitions, and wraps his head in a ridiculous red scarf. The encounter that follows — with a blood-drinking, courteous, and seemingly lethal creature who holds certain convictions about him — will make his previous life as a vulgar, capricious heir seem carefree by comparison.

Summary
Fox comes back to himself somewhere in the tar-black guts of Coruscant. He comes to, like he's walking through sludge, feet scraping across— sand? gravel? —the ground in the subconscious way someone breathes. There's something heavy slung across his shoulder, and he almost topples, swaying back and forth like a buoy on Kamino's surface. An awful stench seeps through the filter of his bucket.
There are five thousand, one hundred and twenty-seven levels between the Senate Building and the long-drained ocean floor of Coruscant.

Aegon had loved the idea of having a soulmate, until reality came crashing down on his head. His sister wouldn't wait for her ascension to the throne to kill him, not once she knew, and Aegon wasn't so sure he wouldn't welcome the execution rather than deal with his own mother.

Summary
He reached the roof of the building he was scaling and scanned the city for an indication of where he was. Through the rain pummeling the around him, Bruce felt his heart drop. His hypothesis had yet to be tested but the circumstantial evidence he was given pointed a direction he could not ignore. Bruce had either traveled through time, or was on another Earth.
Jason definitely wasn’t hyperventilating. Staring down at the Bat he killed before, prepared to kill him again. He was struggling under Jason’s boot, unable to gather the strength to push himself up. He could tell the Bat was waiting. Maybe even judging. But Jason just stayed there, hunched over the man that was supposed to be long since dead, unable to pull the trigger.
or: Bruce is accidentaly sent to the Arkham Knight's dimension six months after Batman had been unmasked and killed on live TV
