There are plenty of fics that tackle the aftermath of Mulder’s behaviour in ‘One Son’ – this one’s mine.
I’m bridging the gap between Scully walking out of the offices of the Lone Gunmen and her sitting next to Mulder in Kersh’s office saying she wouldn’t bet against him. We’re going to follow Scully through the narrative (because we all sadly know what Mulder was up to during most of that time) but it won’t be solely her POV.
There will be honesty, so there will be angst, but this fic remains firmly categorised as MSR so don’t worry! I still intend to retain my crown as the queen of the happy ending.

Dana Scully is a pre-med student who doesn't believe in ghosts, while her older sister Melissa absolutely does. When Melissa drags Dana to a frat party to meet the creator of her favorite YouTube channel, Dana expects one awkward evening and then to never see Fox Mulder again.
Instead, she somehow ends up joining them on overnight ghost hunts.
