    Tim is a reasonable person.
    He rolls with the punches, so to speak; he's dealt with hurt, betrayal, and abandonment.
    The whole nine yards. Sure, he has his moments, but overall, he reacts pretty rationally to things.

    But watching his baby brother begging his Baba not to hurt him while Bruce insists he needs to "learn a lesson" via a forceful dose of a fear toxin mask?

    Well, the bats didnt kill- but that rule didnt apply to Batman himself right??
    Because, by god, Tim had never been closer to tearing someone's throat out with his bare teeth.

    (TLDR: Tim sneaks into the cave, watches an incident and goes ape shit against Batman himself to protect his baby brother- hurt/comfort ensues with Batfam

    The body of a Prince was not like anyone’s. His hand only ever held others in a firm handshake, and rarely without gloves. Sometimes he would raise the delicate hands of noble ladies to his lips for a brief kiss, but it was all out of propriety. He rarely touched others, but what was even rarer was others touching him. The only ones who dared were his knights, and even they only smacked his shoulder or patted his back in friendly roughhousing. Gripping each other’s arms before battle was the most heartfelt touch they exchanged. Lingering soft touches were not done. Any lingering touch on his person could be interpreted as political movements. After all, Arthur’s body wasn’t his own. It never had been. He was Camelot’s first and foremost. Even above his own needs and wants.

    Canon-era AU. With the threat from Morgana and her forces growing by the day, coupled with the legalisation of magic in Camelot still in its infancy, Arthur feels that his kingdom is floundering. He agrees to a political marriage with Merlin, the young leader of the Druids, in order to secure Camelot's future and to ally himself with the one person who might be able to defeat Morgana. A marriage of convenience soon starts to become something more, and Arthur finds himself learning things about himself and his kingdom he would never have imagined, while forging a genuine connection with someone who seems to truly understand him.
