"You go too fast for me, Crowley," Aziraphale had once said. Now he has lost everything. He knows he made a mistake by going back to Heaven, he wasn't thinking clearly, was too afraid to face the truth. But not anymore. Aziraphale knows it's his turn to put it all on the line and tell Crowley how he feels.
Crowley has been to hell and back, literally, but he has never felt like this. Last time Aziraphale chose Heaven over him he had told himself he didn't care, he had ignored everything that had been left unsaid between them. This time there's no hiding from his feelings, there's no hiding from the fact that he asked Aziraphale to stay, to choose him, and he didn't. Crowley is pretty sure he might be breaking. And then an angel knocks on his door.

Summary
Crowley is the first omega Pinkerton. He has finally received his first case-- bringing in the infamous outlaw, Aziraphale Fell. Something goes terribly wrong and he's taken by an omega trafficking ring and sold to a top railroad tycoon who abuses and torments him for months. Until, one night, the alpha he had been sent out to catch shows up at the mansion.
Aziraphale has been fighting the omega traffickers and rescuing as many omegas as he can for years. This rescue is different though, once he meets the fiery redhead chained to the tycoon's bed. Crowley's different. And the outlaw who has sworn off any attachments... starts getting attached.
Crowley is invited to come stay with them and he accepts-- if only to finish the case and to save himself in his own eyes. He struggles deeply with what happened to him and it takes a great deal of time and helpful characters to help him slowly come to terms and start to heal.
Can these two wounded souls see what's right in front of them as they start to heal together? Is there a happy ever after for them? They don't know how but slowly but surely, they start to see that maybe there is happiness for the both of them after all. Maybe even with each other.

He would mind it a lot more, if said thief was not the most gorgeous man he has ever seen. Also, more interested in debating religious philosophy with Aziraphale, than robbing him blind.
Or, a comprehensive guide on what not to do during a break-in. Unless you want to meet an unhinged criminal, who might just be perfect for you.
