Summary
Another series of snapshots from the 'Galaxy Changed' Universe! I will post a small part of the most recent chapter as the summary until the fic is completed, then I will re-edit the summary.

Obi-Wan was awake, but his eyes remained closed. He’d mentally unpacked and sorted the previous day’s events before allowing himself to fall asleep the night before.Now, he considered his own emotions and thoughts about this mission.
It was, rather explicitly, a Shadow mission, and even a Shadow mission generally requested by the Senate. This meant he had more official support than most would on an “off-the-books” mission of this type.
He’d been placed in a dreary Crimson Corridor boarding house for newly arrived workers in Coruscant, and he was by all appearances living exactly as the millions of beings who flooded into Coruscant each year desperate for work.

Ja’hon clasped his hands together and performed a low bow over his joined fists.
“I am Ja’hon Kelt, Warrior of Zeison Sha. I also look forward to our exchange.”
One corner of the assistant’s mouth rose just slightly. Perhaps she was amused by the farce.
The Zeison Sha were strong warriors, but their abilities and techniques in the Force could not compare with the Sorcerers of Tund. And his people in turn had little to learn from the mystics and academics that would better their own fighting techniques.

Summary
Tepasi was plagued with tremors, always had been and always would be according to the geologists who’d briefed their group of Force-sect responders on the first day of their rescue efforts. Because the tremors were so frequent, the planet could often respond without outside assistance.
This season’s tremors were much worse though, and were occurring closer together, closer in location and in time. The planet’s resources were overwhelmed.

Komari had felt guilty, shameful and embarrassed really, when Master Dooku had left and Komari had more or less completely retreated into the spare room of Rael’s apartments. Rael had told her she was too hard on herself, and that she deserved some time.

Summary
Soulmarks are not that rare.
It is special, for two people to have such a profound impact on one another, that they will both change the course of the other person’s life, that they will have the greatest impact on each other’s life, above every other person the other will meet.
Soulmarks are not romantic, not necessarily. Not even typically.
There are just as many, if not more, horror stories of soulmarked pairs as there are stories of great loves.

Like, if we're being objective here, they are the normal ones! And it is everyone else who is weird about how Hollander and Coach Marty are....them.
Really, this fic is Bern and Shane being progressively weirder while insisting they are normal, actually, and making it everyone else's problem.
