Summary
After a long day at work, Dante would've been prepared for anything. Anything except finding his long lost brother collapsed on the floor of Devil May Cry.
“You’re a real piece of work, you know that? Left me thinking you were dead for a whole decade. Never wrote me any letters, never showed up, no. Nothing.” He laughed bitterly. “Then ta-daa you crawl back from the grave, raise that fuckin’ tower of yours, and turned me into shish kebab.”
Dante kept rambling even though Vergil couldn't hear a word of it. He couldn't help himself. Talking was easier than letting his mind wander to the turmoil inside.
“Left me thinking you're dead for a whole other decade– and, now what?” He scrubbed angrily at the tears threatening to return. “You came back just so I could clean up your mess? After you fucked around all this time? What am I a fucking contingency plan?”
Or before the event of DMC1, Vergil miraculously breaks free from Mundus' control. Barely alive and with his body falling apart, he has only one wish left, to see his only remaining family one last time.
Recovery, unfortunately, might be easier than learning how to be brothers again.

What if the Birth order wasn't actually the one you thought it was? Dante is actually older, they both know it. It doesn't quite change everything about them but Dante does take his role seriously.. well he does in the end. Can't really say much about the beginning.

Summary
In another life, Jason finishes his training with Ducra and actually takes the time he needs to come to terms with what has happened to him. He comes back to Gotham, not with murderous intent, but with the goal to make sure that no Robin is ever killed again.
Basically, Jason protects the crap out of the Batkids while Bruce drives himself somewhat insane trying to figure out who the newest Gotham vigilante, Ghost, is.
Side Note: This is a standalone story, don't get turned off of it because of the series tag! :)

Summary
Jason isn't quite sure what he's done in his past lives to deserve this. No matter how hard he fights for it, all good things must end, it seems. Apparently, for him that means a life alone, filled with an endless fight against the evil of the planet. But his latest mission hits just a bit too close to home.
Or: Jason listened to Ducra and stayed with the All Caste instead of returning to Gotham. But after the caste is wiped out and he hears news of the Red Hood terrorizing his hometown, he can't escape the pull of his past anymore.

Summary
“Why are you here?” Hal asks, feeling the beginning of a headache pounding in his skull.
The kid, Jason, stops chewing on Hal’s potato chips and looks at him as if he’s stupid for asking a reasonable question. “Because Batman hates you the most, duh.”
A tale of friendship that spans years.

But Nightwing wants to know why a Alpha crime lord is dumpster diving for nesting material.
Or
Dick hatches a plan to help Hood settle down, start a pack and leave his villainous ways behind. Jason wants to know how Dick figured out that he was Red Hood so fast?! Knowing his identity could be the only explanation for Dick leaving him all these gifts... right?
