Summary
When Murderbot goes on vacation to visit its humans, the last thing it expects is to get roped into another murder investigation with Preservation Security. It's not complaining though. Security work is easier than socializing, after all, that is, until the investigation starts suggesting that a fellow construct might be the murderer. And it might be loose on the station.

One of my clients was always looking at me, and with a type of intensity I didn't like. Now, I'm not an idiot, okay? I had watched enough media and been around humans long enough to understand why she might be doing that. It's not even the first time a client had looked at me like that. I just ignored it. I didn't like it of course, but there's no way for me to stop her that wouldn't reveal myself as a rogue SecUnit. It was out of my control.

Summary
SecUnit wants to enjoy its time with Mensah and the Mensahlings. Why must everything always be so complicated?
Existing on Preservation means interacting with humans, and humans interacting with it. A lot of humans have strong opinions about anything from the CR. It's okay, SecUnit also has strong opinions about the CR.
All that pent up fear and misunderstandings about SecUnits gets in the way of a nice time, but surely no one will cross any lines, right? Preservation Alliance is better than that, right?
A multi-chapter about SecUnit's time on Preservation. Meeting people, hanging out with Amena and Mensah, teaching children???? Watching media and finding all the holes in the laws of Preservation that don't count constructs as either human nor bot.

Summary
I'm not cold, I sent to ART.
I did not say you were. It is about comfort.
I rolled my eyes but didn't argue. ART was right. Seeing Mensah warm and safe and content was comforting. Having a physical blanket on me and having ART as a metaphysical blanket on me in the feed was… nice. This was nice. I felt less worried than I had in a while.

She didn’t know, obviously, so I threw out all my paranoid thoughts as soon as they occurred to me. Summary
Apparently, our technician had seen similarly corrupted map segments on a different survey, and that had been caused by the alien remnants. So now the supervisors were suddenly very interested in a potential discovery of unmonitored alien remnants sites which their parent company DeltFall could exploit. And they didn’t want to lose any time in verifying this hypothesis.
Urgh. This could become really dirty really quickly. I hope they wouldn’t find anything.
