A half-formed memory of the worn-smooth boards of the Oro, Roger’s sword at the tip of his throat, a full-bellied laugh as he’s picked back up. As soon as it comes, it’s vanished.
“Just Ace?” Shanks asks, like he’s still all there.
“Yeah,” he says, shortly. “Just Ace.”
