There were two kids up on the roof. They couldn’t have been older than ten, but frankly, they looked like babies. The boy had dark hair and a red jacket, while the girl was dressed in all purple with blond hair poking out from under her hood.
Jason was pushing himself over the ledge before he could really think about it. What were two kids doing on a rooftop, in the middle of the night, in Gotham?the story of two kids conning their way across gotham, and (mostly) inadvertently into the batman family.

Summary
Tim's eyes blinked open to see Joker's wide smile. "Little birdy!" Joker crowed in delight. "Is there something you wish to tell your Papa?"
"Fuck you," Tim spat out.
Joker slammed the rods into his temples. Tim's vision whited out, pain coursing through his veins. He didn't know how long Joker held them there, but when he took them away, Tim's throat was raw with his screams and his muscles twitched and jerked in the aftermath of the electricity.
"Ya know I don't like to be left out of the joke, Junior," Joker said thoughtfully. "I'm told lotsa kids your age hide things from their Papa."

or, Tim is a metahuman with the ability to heal from death. When he is kidnapped, the Joker plans to turn him into Joker Junior. Then, Tim is killed, and Joker realises the Robin he caught can't stay dead.

There is a dead bird on the manor.
He chirps as if he was alive, he flies through the streets of Gotham as if his heart still beats.
There is a dead bird staring at Jason in the eyes, he doesn't even acknowledge that just yesterday the bird's blood coated his hands as his body laid on the floor, forever unmoving.
Tim Drake was dead yesterday, Jason made sure of it, he doesn't know why he isn't today.Or: Tim Drake doesn't seem to be capable of staying dead. No one knows that until Jason, who finds out in a very unpleasant way.
Tim is just confused as to why Jason looks at him with horror, he’s pretty sure that hasn't happened before.Series
