Summary
It all starts when Pavi and Nisha notice Jaes "marks" that he got from his so called "boyfriend". Whilst Jae trips over his own feet trying to explain himself, he realises just how many lies he has to keep from his boyfriend and the people he loves, in order to protect the two girls, who are starting to become like little sisters to him.
Just how many lies can one person take, before it breaks them?
(It starts off as fluff and crack, but then gets into a character deep dive for Jae)

Summary
Jae finds himself at an, if not the most, important juncture of his entire life: Stay behind in the only city he knew, continue to stymie a fervour that was growing too hot for him to believably guard off suspicion in the coming weeks, or to follow Pavi and find her sister together, even if that meant betraying everything (and almost everyone) that he knew.
He chooses the latter.

Or Jae, Pavi and Daemin go on the run in a long and driven search for Nisha, and along the way discover that there's more to life than the enclosed walls of the Haven of Wind and Sand, and the many lies it perpetuated.

They growl and as he swings he turns back to see a puff of smoke and an honest-to-Gotham bat charge at him.
