He stares for a long while, wondering how he could’ve forgotten, before turning on his heel.
He remembers the story. How can he not? But it’s fragmented and jumbled in his head, blurring with what he knows of this life and the details he does recall don’t concern him.
There’s only so much one can remember about a book read a lifetime ago.
Orion has no interest in getting involved.
He has a life. A name. A duty to his family.

My heart hurts for Orion. Sirius, I sympathise with but he is such a shit person sometimes and especially as a parent. My heart HURTS for Orion but this last bit with the wallpaper did make me laugh. Until Sirius nearly went to hit him. Gods I hope it's a wake up call..the man's not well sure but he's so fucking awful about looking after one kid it's not funny . We'll be like roomates - are you KIDDING me?! What a dickhead.
At least Remus has realised it but it's so fucked
Understandably so but still.However! Anyway. The way you write relationship's is so good.

Ever found yourself reborn into a fantasy world? No? Good. It had been way too long since Ellie last thought about the Percy Jackson series to remember it properly, and she didn't even get any reincarnation-patented buffs and lifehacks. 3/10, would not recommend.
(The one where the tone closer to the original myths than to the books.)
