Summary
Jon doesn't have it in him to destroy Peter Lukas, and Peter is a sore loser. Instead of running back to the Tundra like Jonah expects, Peter bashes Jon over the head and brings him out to sea with him. Apocalypse averted, world saved, and most importantly Jonah Magnus punished for stacking the deck during their wager.
Peter never had a pet before, but he's certain that looking after the Archivist is exactly the same thing. He just needs to keep his new cat fed and entertained. How hard could it be?

Summary
Peter opens the door.
A figure stands on his porch, half hunched over himself, a hand pressed to his chest. Rain, like tears, drips from his black salt-and-pepper streaked hair. A bloodstained hand hovered where the door had once been. A golden ring was on the fourth finger.
The man’s head lifts and gray eyes lock with his. “Peter?”
“Elias?”OR: Jonah Magnus, as all things, eventually dies. As his life flashes before his eyes, he sees Peter Lukas over and over. Somewhere, somewhere else, they are reunited. They're far happier about it than one might imagine.

Summary
The rug is ruined.
It had been a fine thing once—woven Persian silk, deep burgundy threaded with gold. He’d liked it, even though he never walked barefoot on it. A gift, perhaps? Or purchased to impress someone. That someone is long gone now. It doesn’t matter. Nothing about the rug matters now, except that it's soaked with blood.
Two bodies, two vessels—one broken open, the other rearranged.Bookmarked by SimplyMonkey

Summary
“You feel like sin,” Peter murmurs, voice thick, like he can barely push it out past the heat.
Elias laughs, breathless. “I am sin.”
Peter thrusts up again, deliberate, and Elias throws his head back with a helpless, broken noise. He’s grinding now, riding the pressure, chasing friction like a man starved. Peter watches him with awe and hunger and something disturbingly close to tenderness.
“You’re letting me see it,” Peter says, almost to himself. “Really see it. All the cracks in the godhood.”
Elias hisses through his teeth, hips stuttering. “You’ll never get this again if you ruin it with poetry.”
Peter grins. “Then shut me up.”Bookmarked by SimplyMonkey
