Summary

A soft sigh escapes her as she lifts a hand, the guqin fading into wisps of light, leaving not a trace behind. The grin on Hsin’s face grows, ever so smug, as she circles Qingxiao with nimble steps, until Qingxiao can see all of her, the thin rays of light that slip through the partition illuminating Hsin’s features.
“You’ve always been quite the cunning one.”
Hsin merely smiles in response, without any shame, pressing the softest of kisses to Qingxiao’s temple, one hand brushing strands of pale blue hair from her face, as though in silent invitation. “And you’ve never once had an issue with it.”
