“So,” he started. “What do you want?”
“A friend of yours told me that you know your way around spells and magic.”
“I don’t have friends,” John stated, deathly calm.
The boy gave him an innocent, but impish smile that screamed "Welp, what can you do?"

Summary
“I know you’re Phantom, and this time, I have proof!” called a voice from across the cafeteria. Danny looked up to see Wes Weston waving an entire three-foot-long corkboard. Even from a distance, Danny could make out a disturbing amount of red yarn attached.
Danny heaved a heavy sigh and put down the sandwich he had yet to take a bite of. Wes would pay for disturbing his sandwich time.
When Wes reached his table, he slammed the corkboard onto it, scattering a few loosely-secured pages to the floor. “You, Daniel Fenton, are Phantom. Don’t try to deny it!”
Danny just rolled his eyes. “You got me, bud,” he deadpanned.

Kon spun in his chair, hoping it made him seem more casual. “What do you know about Tim Drake?”
Robin didn’t look up from the computer, but his typing slowed to a more human speed, “Why in the world would you want to know anything about Tim Drake?”
OR: In which Kon reads an article, gets a little crush on Tim Drake, and figures his local Gothamite might know something about him. Asking doesn't go quite as he planned, but hey- he gets a boyfriend out of it, who is he to complain?
