Summary
Something is happening in the Preserve. The ley lines are humming. Someone has been drawing ritual circles in clearings that haven't seen magic in a generation. And there's a boy—a teenager, living rough in the woods—who smells like woodsmoke and ozone and something impossible. Derek wants him gone. Derek wants him caught, interrogated, expelled, because the last time someone showed up in Beacon Hills smelling like something they shouldn't, people died. But the boy won't talk. The boy runs. The boy looks at Derek with amber-gold eyes and a sharp jaw and an expression of such carefully controlled grief that it makes Derek's wolf howl. And Stiles—Stiles, who was supposed to be leaving, who had one foot out the door and a Georgetown acceptance letter on his laptop—Stiles can't stop looking at the boy either, because something about him feels like recognition. Like déjà vu. Like coming home to a house you've never lived in.

He's going to run, and he's going to find out once and for all if the thing he's been carrying for six years is just a crush or something written into his bones.

Summary
Derek Hale is the most talented Jaeger pilot the Pan-Pacific Defense Corps has ever produced — and the most difficult to partner. After his first co-pilot used their neural link to manipulate and betray him, Derek has burned through every partner the PPDC has thrown at him, his walls too high for anyone to breach in the Drift. One last chance. One last partner. Enter Stiles Stilinski, fresh out of the Jaeger Academy with the highest aptitude scores in a decade and a mouth that won't quit. He's smart, he's relentless, and he fits into the broken spaces of Derek's mind like he was made for them. But the Breach is widening, the Kaiju are evolving, and the clock is ticking toward an extinction-level event. If Derek can't learn to trust again — to let Stiles all the way in — they won't just lose the war. They'll lose each other.

Summary
Derek is tearing down the Hale house. Rebuilding on the foundation. He doesn't ask for help. Stiles shows up anyway — with a spreadsheet, a build schedule, and a group chat called "HGTV: Hell Edition."
Within six months, Stiles has nested so deeply into the territory that his scent is in the walls, he's wearing Derek's hoodies like they're his, and every wolf in the pack has quietly rearranged their life around him. He has no idea what he's doing. He thinks he's just the annoying human who does research.
Then the Alpha Council shows up, and an ancient Alpha names the thing everyone — except Stiles — has known for over a year.
Or: two people build a home together without admitting they're building it for each other.
It starts with the house.
