Summary
Steve is an unconventional witch or at least that's what the people of Hawkins think. He's bright colors all the time, his house isn't spooky at all and while his familiar is a raven, people expect a black cat. Which is probably why most people looking for the witch end up at the Munson place. Dark, foreboding, and covered in creepy vines, it's the perfect, stereotypical witch's house.
So when Chrissy Cunningham makes that mistake it sets off a series of events that will change the face of Hawkins forever. Now if only Eddie can get over the fact that people think he's the witch and admit his feelings for Steve.

When Cheongsan was a boy, his neighbour had this big German shepherd, a big hairy thing that loved to lick him on the face and demand belly rubs. One day, his neighbour had arrived from a walk back with said dog, only both had been soaking wet from the downpour of rain they’d been caught under. When the dog had licked Cheongsan in greeting, he remembers distinctly grimacing at the smell of wet dog.
The question is, why is he smelling that very same thing now?

The timer on Steve's wrist has been stuck at 224 ever since he was born. He has no idea what it means. As far as he knows, no one else's soulmate timer is broken like his. Maybe his soulmate died or something, before he was ever even born.
He has no answers, and no idea where to even look for them. All he can do is muddle through and hope that something changes.
But he's not prepared for it when something finally does.
