Trust Fury to fuck everything up. Jason's life was going well all things considered. He's got a decent relationship with his brothers and honorary sisters, Dick is finally home where he belongs at last, and Bruce is honestly trying his best to be a good father and overcome his emotional constipation for his kids. Of course none of that can last when some old distant relatives come to call with magically sticky fingers, just not how anyone would have expected. Too bad he's already claimed and Lady Gotham does not share her children with anyone.

“Well, sire,” he said “That is the common consensus among… the chatter.”
“The chatter,” Arthur repeated and his mind flashed to all the kindness Merlin had received from other nobles. Dear God.
Or
Merlin has all of Camelot (and neighboring kingdoms) wrapped around his finger and Arthur is beginning to resign himself to the fact his servant somehow has more power than he does.
