It took Stebbins a moment to process his words, eyes already dazed despite Harkness having barely touched him. His hands spasmed around Harkness' waist as he squeezed his eyes shut for a second, before blinking them open, staring up at Harkness, an odd mix of annoyance and adoration tugging his face in different directions, his scent spiking with confusion and lust and love, love, love.

His mercy was now intrinsically tied with his damnation. It wasn't always easy to separate the two; in the dark after waking up, in between the sheets when Ryan would grab him too quickly, in the moments where they did wander into another room without the other. The entity had become accustomed to the lack of opportunities and had begun appearing faster as a result. Collie gives a slight nod, trying not to move too much as Gillian carefully pulls out the tie and starts finger combing his hair until it frames his face again, deft fingers working out knots from where his head had rubbed against the headrest.
"Two, relax. She's going to love you—I wouldn't have even brought you if I wasn't sure," she speaks softly, cupping his cheeks and giving them a slight squeeze, "and if she doesn't love you now, she will. You're impossible not to love."
